They were Muslims ( Peaceful ones ) and their
way of life was Islam ( The Peace ).

3.3 Adam replied and told her, "No, no! Do not mention this matter, lest God send another judgment upon us because of killing. How could I raise my hand and cause my own flesh to suffer?" Then Eve told him, "Arise, let us both seek vegetables."

At the time that Adam and Eve were created, religion did not exist as we know it today. It was never specified in the bible.

Based on Romans 6:16, as long as they were obedient to their maker, they were followers of Yahweh.
It is common knowledge they gave up that religion and allowed themselves to come under the influence of the one we know as Satan.
Personally speaking, I think that was a bad choice.

It was Islam, we know this because Adam had a beard, Eve wore a burkka and wasn't allowed to go to school or learn to read, and then their son suicide bombed his brother for being an infidel.
