Now yahoo censored this question, but I feel it is valid. This is another case of "of dear god dont offend the muslim, but feel free to make fun of christianity. Well further more, there is an uproar in the muslim community overthe popes remarks. Well her was useing the tolm to express the evils of fighting. What happened you may ask, attacks on church's the killing of a nun, a nun for gods sakes. Whats is your take on the muslim ideal of peace through violence?

The problem as I see it is this. The muslims now know they got a get out of jail free card. They know that we are willing to **** on ourselves to make them look good. Heck why act like a human being if you dont have to. I would love to see the world reaction to a group of christians going through a muslim area burning down there maques and killing their mullahs. The world world be in fits. How could we let this happen to the muslims.....how. We got to do something about this!. Where is the outcry in the christian community. This sicken me to that a nun was killed for their supposed peace. I am all for putting the smack down on those people, but you cant that would be wrong to offend the muslim community. You all know I am right.

i am muslim. and i concider killing those nuns as a cowardness and ugly. this is people behavior Not religion. why every time a muslim done crime the whole religion is being blamed?
Muhammad forbid muslims to kill neither women or children during War, so imagine killing nuns and attack them with no rights. that goes against Islam. and a true muslim will know that before he gets Angry or frustrated he should always return to the Quran for answer, and God commanded the muslims to do this:
Always reper evil with good.
Quran 41:34
[34] The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil) with one which is better (i.e. Allâh ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger, and to excuse those who treat them badly) then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

I am Muslim and I tell you that Muslims who believe in violence are very far from the true teaching of Islam. These people are mis-guided and are not the voice of Islam. The real voices of Islam are should be covered by the media!
I guess bad press makes more money!
Who wants to hear the good Islam does? Why should the media portray Islam, the fasted growing religion in the world in a positive light?

After reading the Qu'ran and the bible it is very easy to see which one is the religion of love and compassion, of forgiveness and grace, of mercy and salvation.
Yes, islam fundamentally can be a peaceful religion, but it seems only for muslims.
Almost every religion in the world claims their's is the only way, to heaven, peace, salvation, happiness, etc etc
but islam has the mandate to conquer and convert the rest of the world.
If you do not convert, your choice is either be subjugated to (supreme) islamic rule or the sword.
Personally I feel very strongly that the majority of muslims have no bad intentions whatsoever and want peace and prosperity and happiness like anybody else.
Unfortunately it seems that Islam is being hijacked by terrorists, conmen, sectarians, politicians, arms dealers etc. and that it is more about power and influence and making money than about religion.
Those people need to be hunted down and justice needs to be served in order to protect all free societies and peace loving people.
ALso I am still waiting for a clear statement from a respected and authorised islamic body condemning violence in the name of islam and promoting peace and tolerance.
As long as thats not forthcoming I have to go with what the pope cited in his speech and conclude that islam is a violent conquering religion.
Please don't forget, there is only one God, who gave the life of his son to save us all from sin and to offer us forgiveness and grace for life eternal, recognising our human weaknesses and loving us despite.
And in his book he says very clearly that he is the only God and salvation is only through his son.
So for any real christian out there the fact is, that islam is not the right religion and allah cannot save you.

You have a problem with peace through violence, yet it wasn't the Muslims who invaded Iraq. And most Mulims are not violent.
