Chunky, deep fried chips are the best...definitely with Tomato Ketchup...plate is best unless they are chip shop chips, when paper is by a long way the way to go. Vinegar ruins chips and makes them soggy...the whole point of frying them is to make them crispy on the outside and soft inside!!!

chunky. home made with potatoes just dug out of the garden deep fried, served with malt vinegar and a very little salt .it doesn't matter if they are served on a plate or greaseproof paper mmmm beter served wth a nice fresh caught haddock done in a crispy batter made with beer. A feast fit for a king.

Seasoned crinkle cut with ranch dressing! :D Although if you're going for any kind of fried potato, I'd say tator tots are my all time fave! I like the Oneida extra crispy variety dunked in ketchup. I stay far away from the vinegar.
