In my opinion Frank is the better of the two. Frank has a better well rounded foundation than Ken. Ken is better known in popular circles than Frank because of his high profile in the UFC but Frank is more technically sound.
Frank has recorded victories over Bas Rutten, Cesar Gracie, Tito Ortiz and Jeremy Horn to name a few and none of them with the exception of Bas Rutten ever screamed for a rematch with him wining just one of their three bouts. He knocked out one of the "Gracie Clan" in just 22 seconds in the first round. His ground game is equally impressive submitting Kevin Jackson and Jeremy Horn.
Ken is a Heavywieght and has some devestating knockout losses in the cage and Pride. He's more of a showman than Frank so Frank seems to slide by under the radar. Ken will fight Tito again in October (Free on Spike TV) and he will lose again. Tito never asked for a rematch with Frank.
Thanks for the great question Skillapedia.

This is a total no brainer to me, why anyone would say Ken is CRAZY!

Frank not only boasts a better record, has beat more top name opponents, but is easily more well rounded and impressive then Ken ever was.

Frank has knocked guys out with slams, Frank has knocked guys out with his hands, Frank has submiteed guys with knee bars, arm bars, and chokes.

Ken was good when there weren't grapplers around, but he wasn't even that great. A few submission victories in the UFC?

Frank won more fights in the UFC hands down, and he won them later, where there were better and more well rounded competetion. Frank totally destroyed Tito Ortiz something that Ken hasn't even been able to come close to.

Ken is around on name alone, he has lost multiple fights in a row, and his health is giving out on him. You combine that with his lackluster performance for the past 3 or 4 years, and you have what he is, a washed up fighter.

But if you are honest with yourself, and do a side by side comparison of Ken even at his very best, against Frank at his best. Despite the obvious difference in skill of opponents, Frank still wins more decisively and more impressively. Not to mention is undefeated in the UFC.

Frank is by far the better fighter, his record, his wins over quality opponents, and his skills put him miles ahead of Ken.

Frank has the better fighting record. Ken was only good when the rules were still no holds barred. And even then he only won when there was no one good to challenge him. Ken got the first UFC heavy weight belt by default and lost it right away. Frank has beaten Tito and many other great fighters. Ken has not.

Ken openly admits he is always looking for the heel hook, he is a "one trick pony". Now that they are speaking again I would bet even Ken would admit Frank is more well rounded and therefore a better fighter.

Technically its Frank, I love the way he pounded the cocky Tito Ortiz into submissions to think Tito is bigger than him.

But You gotta love the way Ken Fight, very entertaining and Fears no one and has lots of Heart.

Though Ken is the one who trained Frank
