Hi
l would suggest for 30 people it would be nice to make
up a fruit tray served with a light tea biscuit
Tea Biscuits:
2 cups flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 egg , beaten
2/3 cup milk
Sift dry ingredients together, Cut in butter until mixture resembles
coarse crumbs.Combine egg and milk. Add to flour mixture all
at once. Stir to moisten. Dough will be sticky. Turn onto floured
board,Knead gently. Pat dough about 3/4 inch thick. Cut dough into biscuits. Bake at 425 for 12 to 14 minutes or until brown.
Makes 8 to 10 large biscuits

I take an english muffin, a piece of cheese, and a ham slice for breakfast. Pop it into a sandwich baggy and I am on my way.
For a large meeting you could make indivial egg sandwiches.

Get 15 of those little brown and link breakfast sausages, cut them in half and fry them up... get some pillsbury crescents (the kind that comes in a tube). Put a half of each sausage and some cheese with some bacon pieces into a little pocket of crescent dough and make some "pockets".... That **** is SO GOOD!!!!

Well - when I saw the question my answer was going to be string cheese - because I always try to eat protein in the morning and string cheese "travels" well.
But - after reading the rest - how about grapes? Could package them up in zip baggies. Get the seedless kind though.

Bagels with various cream cheeses or lox and cr. cheese.
Sausage rolls?
