Do you think God the Father shed many, many tears??? I know God the FATHER KNEW THIS WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO HIS PRESHIOUS SON, but I think it was the most horrible moment, even for the eternal God. We are made in his image, so we can feel a dot of his pain, but loseing your only son for a bunch of sinful heathens must have been ALMOST unbearable, even for ALMIGHTY GOD.

But God loves YOU and I so much that He took the punishment you and I deserve upon Himself to spare us from the death sentence. Abraham and Isaac were a prophecy of this. So is the prophecy of Barabbas; the guilty was set free and the innocent was punished.

It is of The LORD's great mercy that we are not consumed. His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness.

Yes, because he is love. He has more love than we will ever know in this life. Love and sadness go together, sadness brings tears.
