Everyone needs to stop hinting. No one interprets hints correctly! Grow up and learn to communicate.

Perhaps the girl will mention the future. Maybe she will inquire about what the guys goals and dreams are for the future. But the best way to let a girl know how you feel is just tell her. Open communication always works.

You could just flat out ask "what are we" and go from there. If you're not that bold, try seeing if there's something between you two, i.e chemistry. You could always ask her and see what she says. If she doesn't feel the same way then all you can do is try to move on from that and be friends anyway, if you want.

I am with everyone else. From my experience, it is not a HINT that will help. It is open lines of communication and telling someone how you feel, rather than expecting them to KNOW. Feelings are not intuitive. Someone else may not realize what you think or feel until you really tell them. So, speak up. Tell 'em what's on your mind and weighing on your heart.

Hmm, I would try something like "I want you to define our relationship. What do I mean to you?"
To let the girl know you like her, try "Hey, I like you. That may seem weird, that I'm just telling you right out, but I don't like to play games."
That should do the trick.

Just tell her... Thats what girls want. They want to hear that you care for them, that you want to take care of them, that you want to be there through it all, and everything... bottom line, we drop hints like its our job, and men still don't seem to get it, if you are unsure, or think she may be droppin hints. SHE IS! go for it! a girl likes a guy who will stand up to the plate and ask for her to be his one and only!
~ just take both of her hands in yours, look into her eyes, and let it all out... then pull her into your arms! :) smooth sailing from there...

Caution! Such 'hint' or 'communication' can also be all he needs to get away! Move slowly and watch if his behavior is conveying that he wants to move to the next step.

If you have to "hint".. then you are not old enough to have a defined relationship... a person who is matrue enough to handle a defined relationship just comes out and says so ..
