Metrosexuality is, according to British journalist Mark Simpson, the trait of an urban male of any sexual orientation who has a strong aesthetic sense and spends a great amount of time and money on his appearance and lifestyle.
David Beckham is often pointed out as someone who is metrosexual.
Some of the major characteristics that define the typical metrosexual:
He shaves or waxes his legs, upper body, arms, privates, and/or other parts of his body aside from the face.
He spends a relatively high amount of time in front of his mirror before leaving his house, performing some of the following tasks:
Washing, toning, and moisturizing his skin
Fixing his hair into perfection, or a perfect “careless” look
Plucking his eyebrows
Covering facial blemishes
Whitening his teeth
He pays for manicures and pedicures
He watches his weight, but not as a health concern
His bathroom looks like a cosmetics counter at the local Walgreen’s
He owns a loofah, a blow drier, a skin toner and a self tanner
He is a sucker for Prada, if he can afford it

Metrosexual is a term used to describe "pretty boys". It does not mean bi-sexual. A metrosexual is a guy who takes the time to get manicures, pedicures, ect and pampers himself a lot and looks and acts flaming but is straight.

It's a term for pretty GQ boys that like to dress to the nines, they love women but at the same time, are in touch with their feminine side. Well, that is what I have been told anyway....
I'm a rural-sexual. We wear t-shirts, shorts and flip flops with a nice dirty ball cap most of the time. Rural-sexuals believe in God, good looking women, fast cars and being comfortable. We are still 100% man!

Perfectly sculpted hair, nice threads, manicured nails, got the whole Matt Damon-prettyboy thing going on?
Yep. That's a metrosexual.
Basically, they dig chicks, they're just concerned with their image... and frequently go to the same lengths chicks do to maintain that image.
Nope. Not bi (the exception, not the rule). Not effeminate, either. Just pretty.

mint guys who are SNAGs and follow the following rules;
1. dress hot
2. wear awesome shoes
3. very modern haircut
4. 100% disgusted with the thought of being with another man
5. perfect skin and love the skin products
6. love the gym
7. nothing but designer everything
8. read style magazines often e.g GQ
9. knows how to make only the best cocktails and if he drinks beer its top of the line imported
10. cant deal with a mess

Metrosexual is a term used to describe straight men that are fashion savvy and not afraid to be in touch with their feminine sides. They know wine, great food, have fashion sense and none macho attitudes. Thank God for these boys.

Basically, a straight man who someone may think is homosexaul because he acts like a female when it comes to his appearance.
