corazon tequila or
tres generaciones,
both very good tequila, try these and you will be saying "chingate jose?"
of course there is also the all redundant patron, i swear, one rap song and an unknown is all the rage.

Try Espolon - they have been growing agave for over 100 years and selling their cacti to other makers like corozon, patron, and other higher end.
Some people get headaches from the chemicals that are extracted from the wood that the tequila is aged in. The color comes from pigments extracted from the oak and they darken the tequila. That's why the clear, or silver or blanco tequilas, whatever you want to call them might be better for you - but the downside is that they are not always as smooth as the reposado (rested) or anejo (ancient) tequila.
Just try different ones, skip the cuervo, suaza, and anything cheaper. Try the Espolon Anejo, I've had them all, and I mean ALL and thats my favorite.

Casa Noble!!! To me this is the best tequila I've tried, boutique distillery, triple distilled 100% blue agave, with this tequila you will feel perfect next morning.
"Casa Noble ultra premium tequilas begin as carefully selected individual 10 year old plants of Blue Agave. Each one must meet the strict requirements for water and sugar content. We slow-cook them for 38 hours in stone ovens.
Then, using only the core and hearts of the agaves, we extract their robust juice. The fermentation process is 100% natural, followed by a triple distillation. The result is a tequila so pure and full of agave flavor that it has elevated the concept of tequila to new levels around the world.
Casa Noble Tequila Produced and Bottled in Mexico. 40% Alc/Vol (80 Proof). 100% Blue Agave."

I guess you live in the US, the good tequilas are not well known there ( they usually drink CUERVO, which is awful).
Good tequilas are:
Herradura Reposado
Don Julio
Sauza Centenario
Be careful, and always look for 100% agave, tequilas.
It's kind of tricky, but there are a lot of "tequilas" that are only a mixture of chemicals.
Try the ones on my list and you can forget about hangover ( well, if you drink wisely, if you exceed there's no way to avoid it).
Salud !!!!! (cheers)

Jose Cuervo Reserva De La Familia. It's about 80 a bottle, amber in color & no lime or salt is necessary it's so smoothe.
The best I've ever had! Much much better than Patron!
