Where can I find standard dimensions for seating, table height, chair height, open space and etc?

I plan on remodeling my dining room and want to make sure I have adequate space for comfortable dining

take a tape measure and go to the store. take your existing chairs and place them in the room. if your room is 9 feet wide you will onloy be able to get table and chairs in there. if it's 11 feet wide you can get a storage piece in with it. If it's an L shaped room with the LR you can overflow into the LR.
