I believe that people want to believe that mystical experiences like Fatima, Lourdes and the Virgin Mary grilled cheese sandwich are real.

Sure. I'm not even Christian but I think mystical visions can happen. Not just of Christian visions, but any mystical visions. There are many things we don't understand.
