I think it's because in our culture there are "Ok discriminations". Things like christianity (and now islam, I guess) and whites are ok to talk against since they have been a majority for the most part. If I were to talk out against, say, Jews, I'd be in trouble. No discrimination should be allowed, in my opinion.
