Symptoms of mono usually include a sore throat, vomiting, excessive sleeping, swollen stomach (usually from the liver or pancreas), loss of appetite, weight loss, very high fever, cold sweats, and other flu-like symptoms. There is no way to treat mono...your friend will just have to let it take its course. However, she should still see a doctor due some of the dangerous symptoms. Be sure that she stays hydrated...popsicles usually work best since it's less likely to upset the stomach. Hope this helps!
