To lose weight, a person has to reduce the calorie intake by some amount by modifying their diet. A diet without sufficient nutrients will only increase the appetite of the person trying to lose weight. Since most people combine a diet with an exercise plan, additional nutrients are required for the growth of muscles required to increase the metabolic rate required for long term weight loss. I went for like 3 or 4 months a few years ago and lost like 30 pounds. But I went 5 days a week and worked out for an hour. I stopped going for a while then rejoined about a year later. I lost nothing. Could be cause I only went 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes. I gave up then because I didn't see any results and didn't have time or enthusiasm to keep going. Good luck.

My friend lost over 50 lbs there but her sister only lost about 20 lbs. Her sister was a lot bigger than her, so I'd only recommend it if you had just a few pounds to lose.
