My friend sells handmade baby quilts that are about half the size of a baby crib quilt for $45.00. She has sold tons of them and doesn't seem to run out of people willing to buy them. If you blankets are bigger, then sell it more more, but that seems to have been the best price range she's found.

My mother owns a quilting business, and she handmakes ALL her quilts and she even has the industrial quilting machine to "quilt" the quilt together. She says $75 - $125 depending on the market.

I say 15 at first. Once you've established some customers with word of mouth you can charge a little extra. & if they ask you why the hike in prices, say its because you've had too many orders & time is precious with each & everyone of these quilts. + it would be a worty price for a baby.

it cost you $25 to make it? I make mine for like $7 bucks and sell them for $20. Not sure where you're getting your materials, but you might want to do some serious shopping around.

How long did it take you to make? I think that should consider that when pricing it. But, I would probably mark it up 70%. So around $43.

you should factor the price of the materials and then the time that it took for you to make it. give yourself an hourly rate that you feel your time is worth.

consider how much others are selling similar things for, how meaningful it is to you, and how quickly you would like to sell it. if you want to sell it faster, you might reduce the price.
