take arm and hammer baking soda, and pour it on a wet paper towel, hold the paper towel to the area for a ond period of time, it will take away the sting and it will help the inflamation go down.
This is a tried and true method, because when i was 8 i got stung 47 times by a swarm of yellow jackets that flew up my sweat pants, when i stepped on there nest.
Also dumping a couple boxes in a bath and then letting your child take a bath in nice warm water helps to.
Good luck

If this doesnt help please take your child to the doctors, because there could be an allergic reation to the stings!

watch out for allergic reaction...in case he/she is allergic go to the doctor...if not the area might swell for 2-3 days...get blisters, don't pop the blisters it could get infected, you can put calamine (sp?) lotion on it or cortizone for the itch, or something cold to soothe.
