hey , offcourse its not a lost cause!! Be confident. As a matter of fact i have a small idea for ya.You probably have his phone number or his address or anythin to reach him.Try throwin a small invitation at ur place, a small dinner,a delivery, watch a DVD n stuff, but not both of you alone!Call your friends(boys and girls) over.During the night, try to give him a bit more attention than others.Catch his eye, if you both had eye contact, then throw him a smile ! Make him feel a BIT special, dont show him that ur falling for him.Just like in Physics the to and fro motion, give him and take from him.If you think you gave at the first place, and didnt take back, then immediately stop giving attention. If you were giving and taking back,u might have a chance. There's no way that u cant be alone. If you felt that you were both in a room just having like 2 freinds hangin over, try to make them a move to understand that they should leave. Here comes the moment, its ur chance, kiss him on his neck gently..and i can assure you that its sealed. But be careful,if one of the steps that i told you has failed, than i dont think its safe for you to continue.GoodLuck anywayz.

First of all, while you still can, tell him how you feel and see what happens. This age gap is nothing but checking with him somehow would be a great first step. You don't have to make it obvious, just flirt with him and see how he reacts. Secondly, men do not like women with low self esteem so you need to work on that. Men find it unattractive to see that a beautiful woman think low of herself. If you don't do it for him, you should do it for future relationships cause a man likes a confident woman unless he wants to step all over them and control them. Its easier to control someone with low self-esteem than someone with confidence.
Hope this helps!

y not!?? give it a go! it doesn't seem like you mentioned anything about him not being interested or backing away. as far as the age thing...nah. 2 yrs shouldn't matter. it's all good. however, college might be starting for him soon...(since he's 18)...so it may cause a prob. you can ask him out and see how it goes....above all...have fun!!

You should definately take the chance and ask him to hang out. You've got little to lose and something to gain. If he says no, you probably won't see him again. If he says yes, you've got a shot of spending more time with him.
GOOD LUCK!
