It's a thought. Except....
If you nuke Tehran than you have to nuke Kabal. If you nuke Kabal then you have to nuke Damascus. If you nuke Damascus then you have to nuke Caracas. If you nuke Caracus then you have to nuke Havana. If you nuke Havana than you have to nuke Pyongyang. If you nuke Pyongyang (this is where it gets sticky) you have to nuke Beijing. If you nuke Beijing then you have to nuke Moscow. If you nuke Moscow then you have to nuke Berlin. If you nuke Berlin (You guessed it!) you have to nuke Paris. And, while it may feel good to nuke Paris, we then may have to nuke Brussels.
It would all make a terrible mess.
I say we forego nuking Tehran and just hand over all the power in the world to St. Kitts and Nevis . I've never heard a thing about St. Kitts and Nevis. Good or bad. Have you? Seems to me they aren't any real threat. Easy going people. Heck, their official website even asks for input to help them create a FAQ page!! How much more endearing can a country be???
To be serious though.. No, I do not believe we should nuke Tehran. Whether or not Tehran has the capability of creating a nuclear arsenal or not it is not THE major concern I have.
My major concern is what is going on right here in the United States. Not with our present Administration but with the people of this country. We all have heard of the phrase "United We Stand, Divided We Fall". Well... we are promoting our own demise folks.
Unless these Left Wing Liberal idiots quit palying political games with our lives we are all going to pay a price that we can't afford.
I for one would like to put the Michael Moores, Cindy Sheehans, Susan Sarandon's, Nancy Pelosi's, Harry Reids and Loose Change Author and producers Dylan Avery, Korey Rowe and Jason Bermas of this country right smack-dab in the middle of Tikrit, Tehran or the cave that Osama Bin Laden is calling home these days without protection.
I would not lose one nights sleep over what their fates would be.

The IAEA has had go-anywhere, see-anything inspections in Iran for years, and has yet to uncover a shred of evidence that the country is pursuing nuclear weaponry. Iran itself has denied it all along, of course.
Our best intelligence estimates are that even if Iran started an all-out pursuit of nukes today, it would take ten years for them to make one. Ten years is a long time. By then, demon-of-the-day Ahmadinejad will surely be out of power, and there's a good chance the entire mullah regime will be out too. The mullahs are not popular with Iranians.
The proper strategy is to contain and wait, just like we did with the Soviet Union. If you think we can go to war with Iran with impunity, you got another thing coming. Iran is perfectly capable of shutting down all the oil flowing through the straits of Hormuz, for one thing, and that's not even mentioning what it's capable of doing in Iraq.
I find it frightening that a significant proportion of our population is willing to nuke another nation that isn't at war with us and doesn't want to be at war with us, just because of the spin in the administration and neocon press. We're being lied into another war, using the *exact* same lies that were used for the Iraq war - and people are buying it, to the extent that they're willing to nuke a nation that hasn't launched a war of aggression in centuries, and doesn't have any plans to launch one now.
We're on our way to getting the World War 3 that a lot of people want... because we are so intent on making it happen.

A 500 kiloton range nuke would kill approximately 200 million people with another 190 million dying in nearby coutries from radioactive fallout, and their only guilt will be living near Iran.
Carl Sagan estimated the threshold for nuclear winter is very low, around 100 kilotons. I guess it would depend on the yield of the nuclear device that you're proposing, we're not at the 15-20 kiloton range of Hiroshima/Nagasaki anymore. Nowadays, we can obliterate the earth more easily.

Why?Because they don't want to listen to US?Because Bush thinks that he knows what is good for every single country in the world, but US?I really don't think so.Iran is not a threat to the peace, they never started a war and ,as the IAEA report says, they are not trying to build a nuclear weapon...And,also Bush needs the oil from Iran,so nuking Tehran is not a solution...

Sadly, I personally, put that place on a list of other places. Since I'm not in-charge, I can only live my life according to what I "feel" is right. I do not claim to know more than ppl who are working within the system, on the other hand nor am I blind, stupid, or ignorant. I must have confidence in my elected officials and trust their judgment is not biased and is, hopefully, based on facts as only they know them to be.
I believe personal attacks against citizens comes as a result of the fact we all seen as small cogs in a great big machine. It is thru destroying these cogs others believe the machine will eventually grind to a halt and crash. I plan to be as strong a cog as I can be!

No. We need to stay out of world affairs and focus on our own problems back home. The Muslims are so hate filled and barabaric they will end up destroying themselves before they ever get to us.
