Of course there are people :-))...who know Serbian who aren't Serbian...
I think Goethe was probably the most famous Serbian learner.

The previous answerer is right that Croatians and Serbians speak the same language. Although Serbs and Croats don't often like to admit that they have a lot in common, I think, Serbian and Croatian are two dialects of the same language.
I'm an American, though, and I'm actually learning a little bit of conversational Serbian right now, motivated by my friendship with a Serbian family. I know of at least one other American who speaks Serbian, and he knows a lot more than I do.

serbian is one of the widest spread languages in Europe,belive it or not! it was the official lang.og the Former Yugoslavia so millions know it or at least understand it (Croats,Slovenians,Macedonians..).Today is the official spoken language in Serbia and in Montenegro.According to the Vienna Language Convention in 1851. (that still stands) croatian and bosnian are dialects of Serbian.

the first bit i do not recognize, it sounds poetic and/or folksy (i'm not Serb BTW) then ... in my objectives, i might want to be air solar (sunny air?), the winds whisper, and drops of rain ..... i'd nicely be a flower, a flower something something intoxicating??, distant birds sing, that spring is coming ......i'd nicely be the shining (a shine?), each and every of the celebs and moon path, enable it not be me, because there, you'd be on my own ...... then it repeats the folksy chorus. this is not a acceptable translation yet you get the idea.
