Our doctor told us that a preganancy test would probably not be accurate until about two days after you expected to get your period. This is just an average, it could be positive sooner or later then this, but it's a good start. Those tests are expensive.

They say to wait about 5 days after your period was due to get a more accurate reading. Some of the tests today are getting where they can detect hormone levels earlier and earlier. So you can always head to the drug store and read the labels to see if you currently fall in that time frame. If not, wait a few more days.

wait till you are suposse to have a period then 2 days after you were due to come on take a test.

Normally after you miss your period, I cant think of the name, but there is a test out there that detects it before u miss ur period.
