You have a built in system that will give you fear reaction to dangers, so some fear is healthy. Try not to spend to much time thinking about it. Forget who sang it, so can't give singer. Like the song you got to live till you die. It is less frightening after you almost did it.
Wonder what would happen if people stop buying present day cancer treatment, till somthing more effective and cheaper got marketed

I do not fear death. I do pray that I can have a peaceful death and not a voilent one. After watching my infant daughter die in my arms there is no fear from death. It has no hold on me. There is nothing more reality shaking or sbering than that experience. It is also a very strong link to Jesus and heaven for me. I believe with all my heart that heaven and God and Jesus exist .

I was brought up as a Catholic & although I don't practice very often, I do have a deep faith & don't fear death.
So many times (in movies in particular), we are brougth the image of the "light" & to walk into it and so forth. My thought is that death is as much a part as living & vice-versa. Reason more they also say to live life fully - as if every minute was your last.
Being in the Army reserve & coming from a military family has also given me the objective of saying that if I die in tour, I will die with my brothers around me; what better way to lift your life up than to have those who are willing to sacrifice their life around you.
The best advice I can say is to not fear death, although I can't explain it fully, my faith tells me that if there's one thing that you bring with you, it's love!
I know some peoples will relate to the end of the film "Ghost" when Patrick Swayze is about to "cross over" & tells his wife that you bring your love with you but hey, that's what I believe!
Have a great day!!

Based on my studies of Scipture and on what I know of God, there is no reason to be afraid of death. As Jesus pointed out regarding Lazarus, when we die we are "asleep in death". The Bible speaks of a resurrection to life on earth at a later time. It says that both the righteous and the unrighteous will be resurrected, will live for 1000 years while Christ reigns as King and brings the earth and humans back to the original state of perfection and then at that time Satan will be released from his imprisonment in the abyss as one final test to a perfect human society. Anyone who sins against God at that time will not have hereditary sin as a reason for sinning and will thus be worthy of the punishment of eternal destruction that they will receive.

there is nothing to fear..believe that you will be joined with your friends at loved ones again in heaven, knowing that even though our physical bodies wear out our spirit will live on in a better place...look to your heart not your head when you think about these things...

Everyone fears death(even if they won't admit it), its natural for humans to fear it. On the 2nd question, you would probably be best asking people in a nursing home.

For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

I'm not afraid to die. When my "time " comes I shall gladly "fly" to meet my creator.

Daily it's one day nearer the grave and that's inevitable.

it's natural for people to fear death, because it is the end. However, if your'e a christian, the sting of death is taken away.when you die, you will go to heaven,so there's really nothing to fear.
