What if i believe in God but havent read all of the bible. What if i believe in following the ten commandments and thinking of God as a father figure who will help me but i have never been baptized. What if i do the best that i can but i continually fail but pray for forgiveness. What if i believe in only praying to God and not Jesus. Will i still get into heaven?

If no one believe in Jesus, than God's will was in vain and Jesus death was in Vain. The only way you may make it to Heaven is if God took mercy and had compassion on you, there is two parts to Heaven, the second part of heaven is if you didn't learn it here on earth you will learn it there, in order to see God, therefore, you must be taught of God and all that you need to learn of everything in Heaven, that's means learning of Jesus too.

The Bible teaches that you have to believe it and follow the Word. You will still fail sometimes, for there is nobody perfect this side of heaven. As far as being baptized, the Bible says you are to be baptized after becoming a Believer to follow that command. And praying...I do not pray to Jesus, but through Jesus. We cannot come to God ourselves, nothing we do is good enough for Him if we do not use Jesus to bring it to God. That is the reason we were given Jesus. If you do these things and are a true Believer you will get into heaven. But just doing these things will not get you into heaven. You have to be a true disciple of Jesus.

You're asking us to speculate for you? Ok....
What if all of that? Well...... if you haven't read all of the Bible (most people haven't, even Christians), if you try to follow God's rules and think of him as a spiritual guide, if you stumble and fall but ask God to pick you back up...... and even if you just pray to God...... I think you sound like a regular decent Christian. I mean, you seem to believe in Jesus and you seem to believe in God...
I think according to your faith you get into heaven.

who knows for certain who will get into Heaven who is living on this plane of existence ? no one can guarantee another they are going to Heaven even if they follow all the laws, rules and mores of the Christian Religious Belief System. suggest you do the very best you can and believe the way you want to in regards to Religion and hope for the best.

Why do people believe getting to heaven is so hard...you have to be a good person..obey the Laws..of this country...and ask for forgiveness to God..we are all not perfect..where human..and what you chose to believe and do..is your life...that's why we are here...to chose..

Good question, i'm an atheist but i live my life by similar morals in the 10 commandments, (e.g. i know its wrong to murder etc) and yet even though i live an honest life i will go to hell.
Not much of an insentive to be christian is it?

Belt up please. If you are doing your best then thats good enough. Do you want to get to 70 and realise you have spent your whole life fretting about how you are living it and where you are going to go when you die?
