I suffered from severe dandruff due to brain surgery. All of the research I've done in that time showed that supplementing selenium(a trace mineral) as well as vitamin C will help.I use a topical solution made by a company called Shen Min(do a search for that name) and use Neutrogena T Gel twice a week.Problem solved and I had VERY severe dandruff. My hair is now even thicker using the Shen Min Activator.Washing your hair every day can increase the amount of dandruff.
