i am trying to start the day on a good foot by excerising in the morning before work but aint sure wether to eat before i go or when i come back and how long should i brisk walk or jog for to boost my metabolism up

If you are jogging .. I would eat afterwards. If a brisk walk, you could eat something very light before hand. Good Luck ! :)

For you to have a good jog at a reasonable distance you generally should eat a reasonable breakfast to get your energy and sugar levels up and give it time to digest. I found when I ran on an empty stomach I felt feel sick and weak, but if you are going for a walk you don't need a big breakfast, maybe just have a banana for some energy.

Before, after you have exercised your body will continue to burn extra fat for an hour, but if you eat then it will spend that hour dealing with what you have just eaten. Plus eating within half an hour of getting up kick starts your metabolism for the day.

The best way to decide how long to exercise is to listen to your body, any extra exercise is a good thing and as your body becomes used to it you do more and harder exercise!!

I think you should build-up an appetite by jogging or walking first then a healthy breakfast. If you are hungry when you eat I think your body burns the calories better.

I personally get stomach cramps if I exercise with food in my stomach. I would wait until you get back from a 20-30 minute walk/jog.

honey just carry a bottle of water and go on this walk of your's make sure you finish the whole bottle of water before you get back home.it will help to clear your system,then eat all you want,keep the fat away from you break first.good luck

Eat afterwards. If you eat before then you could end up being sick. Also the food wouldn't have digested yet and would still be in your stomach so you wouldn't be burning it off either.

you should eat breakfast first before anything else!!! and stand for about 10 to 15 mins after going for a walk...
