Yes - speed cameras don't pull you over, do they, but you still get the ticket in the post. It's your number plate they need to know, and the speed you were doing.

You don't save much time speeding.
I had two friends, police officers once.

They decided to run a test. They drove from the North side of Houston to the South.
One followed the speed limit and stopped at all Stop signs and red lights.

The other used his flashers and ran all stops and lights.

About 20 miles.

Difference? About 5 minutes.

Don't speed.

The speed gun is a speedcheck device. If you are over the limit that bloody gun would have taken all your details linked to the DVLA and you or the registered owner would recieve a ticket.

YES!!! All they have to do is get you with the gun and write down your license plate number, then they can send you the ticket in the mail. Same thing applies to traffic cameras -- you run a red light, the traffic cam takes a picture of you, and they mail you the ticket. They're also next to impossible to fight in court...

Ask for a copy of the statement taken by the police officer if it is only 1 officer who noted the details and it doesnt contain any description about the car or driver you could argue they copied the reg down wrongly and if you several people drive the car normally you could say you cant remember who was driving.
