Why does the west lecture everyone on human rights as if they are the only righteous people?

Question

with all the atrocities they have commited wiping out entire populations of natives where ever they went what right do they have? Why should people look at their own people and culture through a western prism? If a western person is the measure of a civilised man i'm afraid i'd rather choose be an "savage". There are specific features of each culture and democracy should come from within the people adjusted to these features instead of a soulless replica of a western state exported everywhere by the US and allies! Why preach christian guilt to everyone?

Because , they are Now rich in material wealth & the natural tendency of man is to adore the rich.Hence the tendency to copy the west.We don't know the value of what we have , we need approval.

Even Yoga has now come back with the Stamp of the West !

Centuries of invasions have depleted the material wealth of our country & now its the turn of Brain Drain.

We are now left with nothing but our Spiritual wealth which luckily nobody can rob.Remember , What were Sikander's last words ?
(it seems Christ had visited the himalayas sometime in his life. even Akbar the Great always turned to Birbal the Wise for advice.)
All will have to turn to India someday or the other to quench their thirst for Spiritual knowledge.

As man advances to higher levels of consciousness no other religion can satisfy him as other religions do not contain that indepth of spiritual knowledge which touches your Soul , the very core of your being !

So far, the west is the only one to come forward and fight against human rights violations. That makes them the most qualified to say anyhting. Those that sit around and do nothing, or those who commit human rights violations themselves, have no right to complain. Your fasle analysis of the west is also meaningless. You obviously hate christianity.. That is your real problem. The USA has more "soul" than any country, so back off.

In the west people are free to live their lives in their own way. It's not a perfect society, we have our nuts too, but for the most part it works. We try to teach our children to be tolerant of others rather than kill. Face facts if people were happy living the Islamic life they wouldn't be blowing themselves up.

we are the most advanced, and the most powerful country in the world, the way things are going that may not be true for long, and the way we got here is nothing to be proud of, but our way of life does have certain freedoms that would make life better and safer for all if spread worldwide, especially us.
