There is the Jewish idea-followed by some thoughts-that there were 2 Jesus figures. One died on the cross, and after his death, the other took over to fool the people into believing he came to life again.

There is the thought, by Muslims, that it was all an illusion and Jesus went straight to heaven, and people just thought he died on the cross.

And, now you say Jesus went to heaven, and another died on the cross----maybe this is meant by what I called an illusion. I had thought Muslims meant that people only thought it happened
and thought they saw the whole thing, but didn't. I find what you are saying to be interesting, and I will check into it further.

Being a Jew, I believe that Jesus was just a man who probably did die on the cross. But, that is it--he died.

Questions about Jesus, or Questions designed to convert or recruit people to Jesus (or even away from Jesus for that matter)are simply a waste of time. Ditto for trying to clarify minute points of scripture when there are so many different interpretations and editions of text. People have already decided for the most part if they believe in the fiction written in the bible. People who feel God talks to them have psychological problems because hearing voices is a psychological illness. All the major world religions have issues like this.

Jesus died on the cross. I am talking about the real and only Jesus, the Son of God, who was and is 100% man as well as being 100% God who at this very moment sits at the right hand of the Father making intercession for the saints, the saints being all believer in the completed work of Jesus Christ at the cross.
