I know Apple is now selling macs with Windows XP, but that costs more than $1,200. Does Apple have any plans to do something that will allow old macs to view videos with Microsoft Digital Rights Management software?

Sorry, I dont' know abut Microsoft Digital Rights Management software, but I just thought you might need to know...
Apple is NOT selling macs with Windows XP. The new processors they are using are x86 compatible which means you CAN run Windows on it natively (without emulation), but you have to have your own copy of Windows to do it. Macs come with they're own operating system called Mac OS X, with the X standing for 10, and the most current version is 10.4.

What operating system version are you using?

I'd suggest downloading the latest version of Windows Media Player for Mac OS. Hopefully there would be some support for its DRM Technology in that.
