Hmm, not sure what you mean by your question. Do you mean you are wanting to ask homeschooled children if they like being homeschooled, or are you writing a paper, or are you trying to decide if you want to homeschool your children or are you looking for pros and cons....
I'm sorry but your question is fairly vague. If you are wanting to find homeschooled kids, this is not a people search.
if you are wanting to know why parents decide to homeschool their children and what they believe their children's opinion of homeschooling to be, then you would probably have to re-ask your question.

My boys both LOVE homeschool (ok, they like the extra free time it gives them). Part of the reason we chose to homeschool was because there is TOO MUCH socialization in the public schools and not enough education. My boys can finish their work in about 4 hours (less for the younger one) and we can go to the park and play with other homeschoolers while the public schools are still in session (like we did today).
Sure, there are things they miss out on (drugs, violence, sex, ... :-), but I take every opportunity to get them involved in the things they show an interest in. Example - my older son wanted to learn to play tennis, so I found a homeschool tennis team for him to join. When he wanted to learn violin, I found a teacher who also has a string orchestra.
In any medium-sized town, you will find LOADS of opportunities to get invloved with other kids (not just homeschooled). I have to choose between the better and best options available to my boys every semester, based on their interests and the times/distances.
Of course, there are things they don't like about it, but I'm sure you can find public school kids to say there are things they don't like about the public school.
The decision to homeschool has to be based, not on someone else's recommendation, but on your own desire to educate your children. If you are willing to commit the time and energy needed to guide your children, then homeschool may work for you. If not, you'd be doing them a disservice to try to homeschool them.

I've been homeschooled for 6 or 7 years now and it has been a really good experience. I've been involved in my church and youth group, plus summer camp, which gives me the socialization I need. Overall, I've had a really fun time! :-)

My kids are hsed. Please don't believe the bull about lack of socialization. There is more than being with the same kids all day in a classroom. We belong to a group with at least 50 families and we get together all the time. My kids have close relationships with people (that would be of ALL ages) of many different races and religions. We have learned from our friends about different cultures. We have learned about religions such as Pagan, Jewish, Hindu, as well as those who are Agnostic....not by just reading about it in a book, but by having relationships with so many different friends. We are going on a camping trip tomorrow with our group and have several classes with Park Rangers scheduled. In other words, you are not sitting alone in your house all day....you are out there, interacting with people!
There are many ways to hs. I would first suggest going to the library and getting books on hsing. I would then find a local group and go hang with them for a while. You will need to decide what style of schooling would work best for your family. Finally, hsing might not be a good fit for your family. It is just one more choice in educating your children. Just educate yourself on your choices, and you can decide which educational choice is best for your family.

I was home-schooled when I was in grade school and traveled abroad all the time when my da worked in international relations. I liked it but I did miss out on some of the things kids get to do when they attend a school. I went to high school at a public school and loved the social interaction with other people.

I homeschool my kids and they like it. They would rather be homeschooled than to go to a public school.

I'm 14 and home schooled, and I LOVE it!!!!!!!! I have friends who go to public school, and from what I see and hear,I am ever so grateful to my parents for not sending me to public school.I would suggest to any parent out there who has a kid who's getting to school age to look into home schooling,it can't hurt to look.

Generally I think it is a bad idea.
Going to school teaches you so much more than what you learn in the classroom. You get to meet hundreds of people who act, think and are different to you. You meet people of different race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs and different social backgrounds. In other words all the diversity you are going to need to cope with in the real world after school.
Home schooling narrows that experience, and even if the quality of the education is better the lack of interaction with such a diverse group of people could hinder future success.
You can be the smartest and most highly qualified individual on the planet, but if you cannot properly interact with all kinds of different people you could easily amount to nothing.

thats a good idea to find out if your child would like it but, wouldnt you be better off to find kids who have done both regular school and home schooling? other wise the home schooled kids will not have experienced the difference and will not be able to give you accurate info.

Mine have both liked it and hated it. They've missed friends but we solved that by having co-op field trips and such.
They like the extra one on one attention and being able to have input on what they are studying and with the lesson plans.
