Okay. I asked something similar to this before, but I didn't word it correctly. What I want to know is if a man loses respect for a woman once she sleeps with him? If so, then why? What are they thinking?

Guys, we waited five months! Not so much by choice but rather it was a long distance relationship. Someone mentioned that a guy might lose respect if a woman has "freaky" sex right of the bat. Please tell me what exactly a guy would consider "freaky?" Is it okay if she is unihibited?

Not all men are like that, I respect all women, it really doesn't matter if they slept with me or not.

I don't think that a man loses respect for a woman once she sleeps with him. For example, I have been with my girlfriend for quite some time and we still have not had sex. I still respect that fac that we haven't had sex yet but I will not lose that respect for her once we do. The only thing that I think a man loses is the thrill of being with someone new for the first time. My girlfriend and I have already set ourselves up to continue that thrill by doing something different everytime. For example this last weekend we went out to a remote part of campus and played with each other. Numerous time campus security drove by and added more to the thrill of what we were doing. A man should never lose respect for a woman once she sleeps wtih him. It is only the possibility that the thrill of the new experiance will no longer be there. For the solution to that you must keep him guessing and new surpises will continue to please both you and him. Hope everything works out for you.

No, he doesn't lose respect for her. He either still respects her after... or he never respected her in the first place. The type of women that I lose respect for happens before sex. If I go out with a woman and on the first date she wants to have sex... that's where the respect is lost... not after I had sex with her... if I even do.

Some men do - but then they don't respect women anyway, and just pretend to. It pays to be cautious here, at least a little. Try to find out as much as you can about a guy before having sex with him. Find out how many partners he's had, how often he's moved (this can show instability or a very impulsive nature), how much he drinks, whether or not he's ever had any STD's (and did he tell his partners he had one?). Is he willing to wear condoms? Is he overly cynical? Paranoid? Relationships can be a mine field. Good luck!

No, it all depends on the individual lady and how she carries herself before and during sex. How soon did you give it up, Were you a complete freak in the sack right off the bat, do you carry yourself with pride and respect for yourself, etc. If you dont respect yourself then no-one else will either. It could also be as simple as you dating nothing but pigs too.

We don't lose respect for the woman its just that if you give it up too fast, we start to think bout how many OTHER men you gave it up to that fast. Once that thought is in a man's mind......O MY GOD, it's so hard to remove it because that thought will always be there. Every time you come around, the thought pops up. Every time you speak to a "GUY FRIEND" the thought pops up. Men are very sensitive when it comes to their females. Best thing to do is wait for a minute and just hold out on it till your ready. ............Doctor J@e

There are different circumstances. A lot of guys lose respect for a woman because she is easy to bed. If a guy loves this woman and the love making is good he probably won't be disrespectful to her.

That would not under normal circumstances cause a man to lose respect for that woman. So, either the man you are wondering about is a jerk or there is something else to this story that you've not let us know.

No, wrong! A man loses respect for a woman if she gives it up to him to quickly. When you come on to strong, and sleep with us just to keep us, it makes us look down on you, and makes you look deperate. we like our women to have some degree of control and power over us, and that power comes from controlling that little head in our pants. Girls use sex to manipulate and control us, but if you give it to us whenever we wanted, the entire heiarchy of power would be all screwed up. And us men'll stop doing great things, and making great acheivement because we already got what we need from you girls without having to impress you.

If he does, he is not much of a man. My sharing myself, is no different, to me, than her sharing herself with me. If I were to lose respect for her, I would also not have respect for myself. I love my Lady and myself, too much to lose any respect. By the time I decided to give my love, there was (and is) a such a deep and abiding respect for her that I could not disrepect her at that point. I can not speak to the thought process of other men.

If a man does that then he does not love the woman, he was just using her to get himself off insider her. Unfortunately this is true. Girls should not give themselves away quickly but make a man prove his love first. Old fashioned but it is best for most people unless you just want sex too. Good luck, I am sorry this happened to you.
