I'm not totally sure where the direction of my life is going at this moment. So I was thinking about spending time with god for awhile. I need to create a daily timeline to accomplish this. So I would love for all you talented day planners to come up with your own spin on the way to do this. Any timelines are appreciated.

Don't do it! People have been lost forever when they spend too much time with this god character.

"So I was thinking about spending time with god for awhile."

If you would like to incorporate this into your normal daily routine, this is what I would suggest.

If you have a wooded area near you or a large, somewhat natural park, start getting up an hour earlier than you normally do and begin your day by taking a long walk. Why? There is something about placing yourself in a natural setting that connects you to divine influence. As you observe life around you, you begin to connect to the energy that created it - also that energy that animates you. Benefits?

You will begin your day in a calm state.

You will slowly but ever so surely feel a direct connection to the divine as it is reflected in the life all round you.

You will also get fit by these daily walks! A nice little side benefit.

The best time for me is between 4 & 5 in the morning. Its reall quite at that time & you can focus on The Lord more. You have to be still & quite sometimes to hear what he is trying to tell you. My dad was a pastor & my mom was a strong christian woman & I visit their graves sometimes & just set quitely & allow The Lord to talk to me. We all get so busy sometimes & we forget to give God the attention he deserves & sometimes some of us only call on him during a crisis. We have to give him out full undivided attention every day. Find a place that you are comfortable at & just listen to what he is telling you.He already has began talking to you or you would not have asked this question !!! He is getting ready to answer a prayer that you have been asking him.God bless you !!!

whatever time you can spend with THE DEITY is quality time. whether you spend 5 minutes 30 minutes an hour or more is not the important thing but the important thing is at least in my opinion is consistency. the same time of day or evening if possible and alone in a place that is quiet away from distracting noise and a period of preparation to get the mood which is important. this gives a brief overview and you can expand with the answers of others.

Hey ... it's sounds like you're considering Opus Dei! Try spending your ENTIRE day with God: Wake up with a morning offering, seek conemplative prayer through out the day, offer your daily work (job work, house work, relationships) up to God, close your day with meditative prayer and Thank God for the opportunity to do all of this for his Glory!

Try to spend time with God in the morning, as soon as you are fully awake (that may be after breakfast or coffee). Use the Bible to guide your meditation.

Then spend time with Him whenever you feel that He wants you to.

And be sure to say good night to Him at bedtime.

If you join Islam then prayer time is all timed out for you. But you really shouldn't join a religion without seriously thinking about it first and study it for a while.

when you can have some alone time, block everything else out and be with GOD your creator. It is a wonderful time, and the best time of your day.
