I just did the St. Anthony Prayer, (the ones that's been rated thumbs up so far). How do you know if it works and if he's here? I never did this before. I still can't find my poems. Please help.

Ok, you pray to St. Anthony in order to find a lost item. One prayer isn't enough, hon. Keep at it. Also, keep your mind open. The location of the missing item might come as just a spark in your mind. Good luck!
Oh, and asking a saint to intercede on your behalf or help you isn't praying to false idols. It works, too. I once asked St. Patrick to intercede on my behalf and protect my house from snakes after I found a snake one day. Once I started praying, no more snakes.

PRAY TO GOD ALONE! Saints are dead HUMANS...I mean no offense..I am just tired of people being taught that a saint, or some priest cxan forgive their sin...when the Bible clearly time and again says...No one comes to the Father but THROUGH me...that was Jesus talking...please pray to God...pray to Jesus...not to saints

You need to denounce your idols as there is only one God and that we pray to Him thru Jesus and then God will hear your prayer and He will decide when and if to answer your prayer
