What does eating something with freezer burn do? Can I just eat the ones without freezer burn? I'm not sure how long they have been in there no more than 2 months I don't think. Are they still okay to eat?

I don't know if they would make you sick or not, but I would toss them anyway. No use taking chances with your health, especially if there is a child involved. Their digestive tracts are much more sensitive than ours.

if some of the french fries have freezer burn it means that most likely all of them are going to taste funny. Best bet is to throw them out. Its not worth cooking them and wasting the time to end up throwing them out any way.

There is a simple remedy for this. Pour the fries in a colander. Spray quickly with cold water to wash ice crystals off. Let drain for a few minutes and turn onto a paper towel to dry a bit longer. If you are frying them, pat dry as well as possible to avoid oil spatter, if baking, follow directions on package. Works well every time. Washing them also helps with any food odors that might have leached on.

I don't know what eating freezer burn does to you, I've never tried it. But I suggest you buy new ones.

They won't kill you, if that's what you mean. They will just taste a bit "off" and have a weird texture, as freezer burn pulls the moisture out. But you won't get sick from it.

Bin them and buy new ones, they are cheap enough. I have never eaten anything with freezer burn but imagine that the taste will be impaired.

They won't make you sick, but they won't taste good. The freezer burn makes it absorb all the foul odors in the freezer.

Of course they're OK to eat. It's just air exposure and frost. The taste may be a little off, but just make them as normal and use spices and ketchup or malt vinegar, and you won't even notice. You won't get sick. Promise.

They won't hurt you but they don't taste very good either.
