It is not a sin. Women master bate too but they won't tell you that. Anyway, there is no such thing as luck. If something is yours to get you will get it. If you want something and you do not receive it, it is not because you are unlucky, it just wasn't intended for you. It is a sin if you truly believe that you are doing something wrong and you continue to do. It is all in your head. The so called bad luck that you receive is in your head, You are creating these situations for yourself.

Have you ever considered that by "assuming" you will receive bad luck that you are sending out that information to be acted upon? Thought has energy. Change your thoughts and you will change the outcome. Also...
Lighten up! Take a look at Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life." If you don't laugh at the piece set in lower class Yorkshire where the father (Catholic) must sell his children for medical experiments - with the concluding song being, "Every sperm is sacred," then no amount of reasonableness will help you.

Masturbation is completely natural, it will not make you go blind, bring bad luck or anything else.
The bad luck can occur because you are thinking something bad will happen so it does.
Masturbation is a healthy, enjoyable thing and should not be seen as anything else. It is certainly nothing to be punished for.

Yes it's sinful, you should make an effort to get rid of the bad habit. What you consider as bad luck may indeed be God's just punishment for sin.
If you give it up you'll be happier, more free and manly.

First it is not "luck" God does not deal in luck, bad or good, second it *is* natural to sin(I also struggle with this) and masturbation is not the sin, the sin is that you lust while masturbating, and third if you repent you will be forgiven.

It is wrong because it is for the unnatural relief of natural feelings. If you fantasize during the act about anyone other than your spouse, it is committing adultery in your heart. If you manage to keep from fantasizing, it is still a completely self-centered act.
God gave us sexual dreams (wet and otherwise) to relieve this tension naturally.

I am a woman, but even I know that it is normal for a man to masturbate, (boys too) the bad luck is just you feeling guilty, let the guilt go.

Dear member,
Since you a believer of Christ, all answers are given in BIBLE, the written WORD of GOD. I was addicted to his habit, which GOD our Saviour detests. He is holy GOD and we believe he stays in our heart. The WORD of GOD instructs that we are the temple of GOD.
I Thess 4:3-5
3 It is God’s will that you should be sanctified: that you should avoid sexual immorality; 4 that each of you should learn to control your own body in a way that is holy and honorable, 5 not in
passionate lust like the pagans, who do not know God;
Today's science will give excuses for bad behavior in the name of instinct and feelings of the past. But we have a GOD who can heal everything and preserve us holy. He did that to me, though I was a vile sinner, I begged to him and he had mercy on me. Now I am free by HIS grace.
Edwin.

I wouldn't mistake bad luck with punishment from God.
God created sexual desire for human beings to procreate. The act of mastrubation isn't a sin it's the fantasy of being with another person while you're doing it that is.
