You may need to get a xray cause it could be fractured. If not keep it elevated & apply an ice pack every hour for 15 minutes.

If you can rotate arm and move hand normally (perhaps painfully) then it is unlikely that there is a fracture. If there is an open or abraded area, clean with peroxide or other disinfectant and use a cream antibiotic over the area to prevent infection. If there is no scratches or abrasions or cuts, soak area in warm water several times daily to reduce the discoloration and soothe bruised muscle tissue.
