My daughter did. It's a fake. Considering how unlikely it is that you'd win a lottery that you've really entered, you are not going to win one that you have never heard of. Anything that seems too good to be true, generally isn't.

Did you enter a competition for this? If not it will be a scam.
They will either want your bank details to pay the money in or other pesonal details or if they are really stupidthey will ask for some money to release something.

Ask yourself why anyone would give anything away. What are they going to get out of it. If you cannot see some financial gain for those offering you a prize, then it will be a scam.

I have received e-mail saying I,ve won just about anything you can name. I recently won a world lottery and all I had to do was give my bank account number so that the funds could be transferred to my account YEAH SURE I,m gonna do that. Bottom line it,s all a scam.If you had won money from some legitimate source they would get the money to you in a legitimate fashion.

Sounds like spam unless you filled in a competition to win a BMW. Best thing to do is to forward it to a BMW garage's email and ask them if it's genuine. I hope for your sake it is though!!

No - but it's almost certainly a scam. If you didn't enter a competition, you can't have won one.
