Before. Otherwise, you burn muscle. Eat 45 mins before even if it's just a little something.

Exercise should always be done on an empty stomach(and all of you people that are barking you should eat before for energy, you're wrong).Energy for your exercise session comes either from stored glucose(glycogen) of from fat in your blood stream as well as adipose tissue.Eating beforehand can not only make you sluggish but has no positive energy producing effect.Conversely not eating beforehand(with the exception of a protein drink with low or no carbs) can have a positive effect on burning fat. You'll be more likely to burn fat by having depleted your glycogen stores and mitigating insulin activity by not raising your blood glucose. It's also more likely that your body will release more growth factors and neurotransmitters while in a fasted state. And exercise has no impact on digestion nor do you burn the calories that you just ate.It simply doesn't work that way.Another myth I'd like to dispel for you is that you'll lose energy from all of the blood needed for digestion.Look that one up.It's false. You do however risk a blood sugar crash from the insulin secreted from eating removing too much glucose from your bloodstream.Much like a sugar high and the resulting crash afterwords.Insulin is responsible for that crash by removing too much glucose from the blood turning you hypoglycemic

I always wait & exercise in the evening cause you burn off most of the calories you have taken in during the day. Thats just the way I prefer. If you do exercise after you eat wait at least an hour or two. I exercised once right after I ate & it made me sick. If you exercise before you eat though it helps keep you from overeating !

Its the same thing as eating and then going swimming. You see when you eat all of the blood goes into your stomach to digest the food. If you eat and then exercise the blood moves through your arms and legs and not in stomach; therefore the food doesn't get digested and you could even up cramping or throwing up.

After eating a classic length meal, you need to attend about an hour before workout. Blood bypass is diverted to the tummy in the course of the digestion procedure. The wait facilitates the tummy time to end this is interest. would not count number once you devour after the workout.

I think the most important thing is that you exercise, I think you should eat a little something before working out because your body is low on food from fasting all night. Maybe a banana or low fat yogurt, will do the trick.

Before. If you eat first, you could end up with cramping and pain. Never eat before exercising.
