Female reproductive organs are located within the body, well armoured by the bony pelvis. To kick a girl in her ovaries is quite a difficult feat!

However male reproductive organs are located on the outside - lucky us! We get something else to play with! It is relatively easy to kick a boy in his testicles, and (for the poor boy) it is an agonizing experience which if he was particularly unlucky might render him sterile.

Females do get pain if kicked in the groin - all except one particularly ugly female bouncer I had the misfortune of making the erm acquaintance of.

However, females do better to wear BREAST PROTECTORS. These are usually hard plastic and are worn to shield the front of the chest. This is particularly important in sports where impact to the chest is a likely outcome eg. Fencing.

I think you are confusing jock strap with a protective box. The former stops all the dangly bits swinging around - which can be very uncomfortable, whereas a protective box is a hard cover that will protect against knocks. Men wear the former for the same reason women wear a bra.
