I understand those of you who have been blinded by Saten being critical of us and of Christ, but we who have been saved by the Blood of Jesus should be more loving and an example to those who are blasting us. No wonder some folks don't want to be Christians when we act so hateful to others.
Let us try to be more like Jesus and less bitter and defensive.

I'm not saying we should be doormats, and I'm not saying we should not tell the truth, but there is a way to tell the truth with love. I basically wrote this "question" because I saw a need for us to be better Ambassadors for Heaven.

Try and parallel spiritual growth to physical growth.

In the same way that children can be cruel, callous and mean to others, so can the spiritually immature.

In the same way that parents should reprove that behavior, God also reproves the behavior...in His time they will be reproved and brought to repentance...if they truly love the Lord and endeavor to grow with Him, they WILL grow, and bear the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22,23).

Let the elders of the church set the standard, lead by example, and teach the babes--with love, and without expectation.

God bless!

Do you not think that some people are not being hurtful or judgmental but that they are telling unsaved people the truth, and that even to saved people sometimes the truth really hurts. If you always candy coat everything for everyone than you are doing them more harm than good. I'm not saying to berate them with everything they've done before, but you can not expect them to learn anything if you always say that's alright or that doesn't matter. They need to realize that being saved is a daily struggle with the world we live in. I do agree that we as Christians need to be more like Jesus, but if I remember correctly even Jesus told people the truth even if it did ruffle a few feathers.

LORD,, NO we don't mean to sound mean or harsh. but this is a very serious matter. WE must tell people the truth, and defend the word of God. some people call us mean, or bitter.. We love people and we want as many to go to heaven as possible, BUT, we must speak the Truth. We can not change the word of God just to make it all warm, and cozy. It is the most important thing in a person's life, We must be firm, and not back down, if we do,, what good do we do for the LORD??? none. If you are a Christian man or woman ,,, you had better be bold and stand up for the word of GOD AND DEFEND IT.

The answer to your question is: They are NOT TRUE Christians. Saten (sic) is spelled Satan.
I personally don't critisize anyone for their beliefs, therefore I appreciate it if they don't stick their noses in my business either.
I don't discuss my beliefs with anyone except very close family members and then only if asked a question.

We are humans too. We make mistakes. Sometimes we let our emotions get the better of us. Christians have been stereotyped in the past by non-believers as people who are supposed to be wimpy, and this just is not true. We can get fighting mad just like the rest of the uncivilized world. I am not making excuses because there are none. I just saying that we are human and subject to expressing our faults.

Do you know how many times this question is asked on ANSWERS everyday ?

I am a Christian. I am NOT a doormat!! Like I just answered another fellow Christian along these same lines, I will now answer you..There is a time when Christians should "turn away", "not speak of what they say and do", "don't give them place" , "do not break bread with"...OK? SO we all must go on the prompting of the Holy Spirit...I will not sit idly by while Christs name is dishonored...Got it ??????????? You go right ahead and love them...we are to love...but if you truly love someone you WILL tell them the truth...not that mamsy..pamsy..sick stupid love that makes all christians look like total retards

And btw..I am not being "blinded by satan" WHat a copout for Christians just blame it on the enemy..Well there isn't a demon under every rock sweetie..and another thing satan is not omnipotent (all places at the same time) ok...only GOD is...that menas he cant be here at my house buggin me, and be in Athens, Greece buggin someone there at the same time

The fruits of the spirit are.. love, joy ,peace, patience, goodness, kindness, gentleness, and self control...and the simple fact is the people who are not walking in the spirit are just living in the flesh and it shows by their words and actions. But remember that we are human and we will never be able to get it 100% perfect, if we could do that we would not have needed a savior. He is our only righteousness!

The same thing could be said about the Atheists on Answers.

When was the last time you seen an illeged Christian asking questions until they run out of credits and are forced to switch to their illegal, alternative account with an even stupider avatar so they could use up all of the questions on it, too?

How many illeged Christians are in here every single day asking questions like...
"Death to the nonbelievers.?"
"Isn't Atheism stupid?"
"Atheism is stupid?"
"Shouldn't Atheists all be killed?"
"I just questioned Atheism, what should I do?"
"Why are Atheist so judgemental?", and then picking the answer that says, "Yeah, I hate CHristians, too!!"

Can you name them? How many Atheists that do this can you name?

Being religious doesn't make you saint-like, I always have to laugh when people assume that. No one can always be nice, and frankly, I've found that Christians are rather angry people when confronted about their beliefs. I don't expect Christians to be any nicer than drunk homeless people, that would just be too idealistic.

You are exactly right - but there comes a time when you have to draw the line - when God says something and you agree that what God says cannot be true - how does God feel about you?

But we do need to adjust our attitudes!
