Honey, why do you feel that you "need" a guy. Why can't you find happiness and fulfillment within yourself. Then when you find a guy you will be a better mate. Other people can't give you or make you feel fulfilled. Life should be fine with or without a mate. When you get "desperate" you make BIG mistakes and will "settle" for anyone who comes along and then you are still miserable. When you stop hunting and find contentment you will find a guy who is a better match for you. Besides men can sense "desperate" women and they run from them. Look for fulfillment within. Life will be much happier for you.

Depending on your age, head out and go enjoy life. Don't be afraid to enjoy being with yourself. Spend time with you. Go bowling, theater, sports bar, anything where you'll find concentrations of others. Get out there, enjoy yourself and you'll be noticed. When you're not looking is when love finds you. Sounds cliche` but as they say, it wouldn't be a cliche` if it didn't work so much.
