I'm beginning work at A&W and one cut of our Chubby Chicken is a 'keil'. I've searched on the Internet and I have no idea what it is.

Thank you for your help.

keil simply means "wedge" or "gore" (meaning any inside part) in German.

The A&W Keil may have any internal chicken part to compose the piece of chicken: wing meat, drumstick meat, thigh meat, breast meat, rib meat, and what they call "keil breast," which simply means any section of whole or cut breast piece.

Chicken in such a configuration is typically refered to as "processed" chicken and is usually battered and fried to hold it all together.
