If I genuinely like her do you think he would mind too much if I asked her out?

to those saying to talk to him bout it first how do u suggest i do that? and what about if he says no and i decide to do it anyway cos shes worth the grief, then I'm really takin the p**s!

The only one who really knows the answer to this question is your best mate, and even if he doesn't mind, you then might wish to consider how the sister feels about you.

This is tricky as if you do date her and things don't work out then you could end up losing a good mate! Ask her out. Then every so gentle say to him i like your sister & have asked her out hope your o.k with that mate.. I'm sure that he'll be o.k with that. I'm assuming theys not a huge age gap & shes not to young as this may change things slightly if she was.

Well, if you asked my brother if you could date me he would stab you with a compass like he did to this other boy (different circumstances, but whatever). Well, if I was you I'd ask him, and if he says no tell him you don't care and still want to, because no matter what he throws as you she's worth it.
