Why on earth had the Pope to apologize for mentioning an old medieval text, saying that Islam wants to impose its religion with the sword?
Al Qaeda is already predicting the conquest of Rome.
They have been killing our priests, burning our churches, making a mockery of the cross and our religious symbols well before the Pope's words. They have never apologized for that.
We have welcomed Muslims in our countries. We have allowed them to build their mosques in our cities. What about reciprocity? Why can't Christians enjoy the same freedom in the Islamic countries? Why can't we practice our christianity in those countries without being killed?
Is our society decadet?
Why don't we react? Have we lost our guts?

We haven't lost our guts we're just civilised and they aren't. We might have to get uncivilised before it's over though. Then they we scream about how wrong it is for us to do the same to them that they do to us.

Actually christians are free to practice christianity in Islamic countries..here in Egypt millions of Christians enjoy all the religious freedom as an example.And the Pope should not apologize to Bin Laden but to the hard working ordinary Muslims like me and my brothers in this forum who never attacked a church or a priest....Actually you ignore the bad practices of the western countries toward Muslims like in Guantanamo and Abu Gharieb....like in killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan claiming they were targetting Al-Qaida and sorry for the civilian lives..what have your gov done to the civil wars and famines in the poor Muslim African countries like Somalia, Niger, Chad....What did the US do to stop Russia from Invading Chechnya and destroying Grozni?
To be fair every side made mistakes but the week side is the Muslims because all what they have is some fighters with obselete weapons and brave hearts.

Look I was told by a new Moslem from the west he is a DR it took him 2 years to become a Moslem and I asked why he "said I read 50 books about Islam pro and cons"

some do not respect the free will and rights of others to believe and act as they want especially those who disagree with their own beliefs. if one wants their beliefs to be respected then they in turn should respect the beliefs of others even if different from their own.
