I remember reading something on the internet a while ago, but I can not remember where it was, that said not to trust science or look beyond it... or something. Any one know if it's in the Bible?

The bible has lots to say about science...check out the Answers in Genesis web site or Creation on the Web(google it). Tons of interesting reading there, all be well qualified scientists.
The book of Job - written before Moses, and possibly before Abraham - has some very interesting questions posed (related to the laws of nature and science).
A book called The Remarkable Record of Job, by Henry Morris, says this: "Job 28:24-27: For God looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven; to make the weight for the winds; and he weighs the water by measure. When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightening of the thunder."
...This passage is significant in recognizing that air and wind have weight, a fact not obvious to the physical senses and not confirmed scientifically until about 300 years ago." This is only one of a whole lot of scientific allusions made in Job - extremely interesting, given the age of the writing!!
Am not familiar with the quote you are looking for, though. Since God created everything, then knowledge and science is also His invention. We are given brains and we are supposed to use them. Anyone who tells you that christians blindly follow without thinking, are guilty of not thinking themselves! Of course we are to think things through. God's truth will stand regardless of our puney efforts to discredit it.

Science is "knowledge, especially that gained through experience."

What we have come to regard as synomonous is scientific method which is a body of techniques for investigating phenomena and acquiring new knowledge, as well as for correcting and integrating previous knowledge. It is based on observable, empirical, measurable evidence, and subject to laws of reasoning.

The bible talks about knowledge and wisdom in regards to both nature and the supernatural.

One pearl that I have heard again and again which I agree with is, "Science textbooks need to be re-written every few years to accomodate outmoded theories, but the bible stands alone as the written word of God."

Book of Timothy 6:20
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

In other words, have faith, but don't trust science. (I'm eagerly awaiting those responses that say this is out of context.)

Strange how few "Christians" know the Bible. It takes an atheist to give the correct answer.

somebody for told of future science in the OT.
It has something to do with a man will be standing up and his eyes will melt out from the sockets, and his flesh will disintegrate off from
his bones.
If that was foretold and it was to happen that would mean that the force that could make this happen would be nuclear powered I recon.
That's big science and someone looked beyond.

Science and technology are modern factors unexpected to the Bible as far as predictions and DaVinci decoding mumbo jumbo go.

The only reference I can recall at the moment can be found at Daniel 12, regarding the end times:

4 “But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of the end; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

Peace.

I think i remember something along those lines but that would only be because science can and does disprove the bibles scriptures, they are only popular stories of the time,,,,, Judas's story was left out for some reason, and he was one of the more loyal followers. after all most or all holy books are just a collection of best sellers stories.....FACT

It's not. It was probably written by a theologian who was afraid of people opening their minds.

If we tell people it's a sin to open their eyes and look at the world, then maybe we can prevent them from learning the truth.

claimed to told moon to shine but the sun is what the moon reflects
