It depends on who you are. AVG Free is 100% free for home use. If you use it in your office, then you have to pay for it - it is NOT FREE FOR OFFICE USE.

To Quote AVG's web site:
AVG Anti-Virus Free and ewido anti-spyware Free is for private, non-commercial, single home computer use only.

Nope. AVG means totally free.

But like all anti-viruses, it is up to you to get the updates, to check the status and run full scans regularly.

The free versions of Ad-aware and SpyBot Search & Destroy are great too, at no cost. Again, check the status, get updates and run full scans. I recommend that you go to http://www.download.com and get AD-AWARE and SpyBot Search & Destory. Install, run, update and scan your computer with both programs.

This double whammy will help keep you safe and running faster.

My answer here is ALSO free. Join my group for free too. (But I sell my book of tips)
