Practice, practice, and more practice. Talk with people who speak English. Write and post and ask for comments and corrections. Watch television (not nesessatily GOOD English but it is the common SPOKEN English). Oh and more practice.

First of all improve your grammar by reading Rein & Martin book. Don't hesitate to speak english with peers even initially there are some mistakes. Listen to english news, see english movies. Practise speaking english by reading newspaper loudly.

1)Don't be afraid of making mistakes -- effort is everything!
2)Ask questions -- if you have friends/teachers who speak well, then don't be afraid to ask
3)speaking - listening -writing - reading all go together. You will be a better speaker if, in addition to speaking, you listen to dialogues in English films, if you listen to English songs and hear the words, if you try writing in English, and if you read English texts as well.
Thinking in Engilsh will come in time -- don't expect to be able to think in English right away.

Best way to learn to speak in english is to Think in English. Start thinking in english, each and everything you want to say, think it in your mind and then say it.
And other very powerful tool, which many a people know but dont use it, is to read an english newspaper loudly in front of a mirror.
Buddy, just practice both these practices for one week and see the difference.

Maybe you should start with your question, "How can I speak English better?" Read a lot of English language literature. Especially classics. Learn to use grammar, that's the most fundamental things about speaking the language, proper usage of words, and watch out for similies! Hang around with people who use grammar well and try to pick it up.

I would suggest u go to an english speaking country for atleast 2 months and that should help!

Join for an english language cource called "Planetworkz" offered by NIIT. It's very good.
