Today, we are going to begin a story telling competition. Each of you will tell a story and whomever tells the best story will win the competition. There is (or is not) a reward for the best story. The story will need to be about .... (or any topic of their choice). It may (or may not) be a story that you have read or had read to you. The winner will be chosen by me (or the entire class). So, be ready to tell a story (after lunch, tomorrow, or next week). If you have any questions or need help (trip to the library), let me know in advance.
A story may be an experience that you've had, a trip that you took, or a story from a book that you remember (most or) all of.
You may draw or color a picture/s to show as you tell your story.
You may bring the book that you want to tell the story from with you and show pictures as you tell the story.

First off I dont know what your story is about. So little help there and for age 4-5 two may three sentices with photos is all there books are. So go with either
Once apont a time
or
One day
