I believe girls prefer tall men because they feel more protected by them. I think most girls like to feel small and cute and being with a tall guy in comparison will make them feel smaller. Being taller then a guy can make a women feel large and somewhat awkward as well. Being 5'7 is not too short if you are with someone who is smaller than that.

5'7 sounds good to me! It's not too short, but it's not that tall either (in between). I am 5'2 so any guy taller than me is in with a chance! :) Height isn't the only thing girls look for anyway. Be confident, charming & funny and you can't go wrong!

Honestly...Usually am attracted to guys who are taller than I am. I am 5' 6 " so I usually likes guys who are at least 5'9' or taller. It's not because of feeling protected. I just like to be able to wear high heels whenever I want, without feeling like I'm a giant next to him. Most guys are self conscious about their height and that makes me not comfortable wearing high heels when I'm with him. Therefore, I would just date someone I don't have to worry about the shoes I wear. Don't get me wrong.... I have been attracted all types and all heights.

I'm 5'5"...my deceased husband was only 5'7" tall...what he lacked in height was made up for in another somewhat more important department. There is nothing wrong with guys that are under 6' tall...no complaints...

i dated 2 tall men ... women feel protective with a taller man but they were both abusive, now got a shorter one 5ft 7 and he is wonderfully kind caring and considerate..... my son who is 17 is also 5ft 7 and announced the other day did i know Tom Cruise was only his height..... so lovely men do come in the smaller variety....

well to tell you the truth i do for the taller man but that is just me, some women actually like short guys, 5 7 is not too short. dnt worry be yourself, if a guy can make me laugh it normaly dosent matter about his size unless he is abnormally short ha ha

society has taught us to like taller men. did cinderella have to wear flats at the ball or look down into the prince's eyes? 5'7'' isn't too short

I think we're like biologically wired to choose men we feel can protect us. So big guys, stereotypically, can do that better than smaller ones. Look for short chicks who won't think you're short if that's been a problem for you. =)

we don't want no short, short man. 5'7 is cool anything under that is not good. but 6'0 and above is better. we like to be protected!

You know what they say right? LOL.......Naw.....5'7 is fine!!!! Anyway.......there are more things that are important. Like maybe their personality!!! Hey....you can be short and fine!!! I am only 5'4....my husband is 5'61/2!!!
