I have a round face and have worn my hair short for many years. Stay away from bangs that are too short, it will make your face look fat. A bob will work as will a shag. If your face is really cute then you can wear it short and spiky without looking 'butch'.

If you can help it do not cut it short and do not add tons of layers around the face area. This will only create a look that increases the roundness of the face and can cause you to look chunky in the face.

You want a long layer not tapered to the face and or a razor cut. The only problem with razor cuts is that over time it damages the hair cause it is not meant to be cut in that manor. Also it will start to get too scragily on the ends then you will have to perform a blunt cut and start razoring all over again.

I would suggest long layers or even a nice perm with large rods that was its soft and wazy and doesnt draw attention to the roundness of your face. FYI - if you do decide that getting a prerm is right for you, pls tell the stylist to layer it or else you will look like a chistmas tree, no curls on top and heavy at the bottom
Good Luck

Bobs are the best for round faces. Its long in the front and short in the back.
