Bratwurst & beer of course!

German Potato Salad

3 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
1/2 C chopped onion
2 tsp salt
1/2 C mayonnaise
1/4 C vegetable oil
1/2 C cider vinegar
2 Tbls white sugar
2 Tbls dried parlsey
ground black pepper to taste

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add peeled and cut potatoes; cook till tender but still firm, about 15 min. Drain and transfer to a large bowl. Add onions.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, oil, vinegar, sugar, parsley, salt and pepper. Gently stir in potatoes and onion. Let stand for 1 hour before serving.
Serves 7.

Schweinshaxn. Its the upper legg of a pig. Roast it in the oven. With that I would serve any kind of salad. If u have a german friend then u can look at www.chefkoch.de.

Any type of german sausage like, bratwurst or knockwurst, schnitzel, saurbrauten and red cabbage, suarerkraut, spatzle, potatoe dumplings and of course the beer.

l would suggest doing pork ribs baked in sourkraut and
carrots. lt doesnt sound like these foods should go together
but it tastes great !!! trust me
